The Brisbane Broncos will no doubt be looking for improvement this year after just scraping into the finals last season. The eventually eighth placed Broncos got off to a flyer in 2012, winning six games in a row, but dropped off as the season progressed, losing six of their last seven games.

The Broncos have recruited solidly, welcoming back three former players in Scott Prince, David Stagg and Denan Kemp. However, they have also lost talent in Gerard Beale, Ben Te’o and Broncos legend Petero Civinoceva.
